Ram Pratap Palace, Udaipur: Best budget heritage hotel with great view

It is a very good budget hotel in the city. We booked this hotel in May2012 for one night for our honeymoon. Lovely hotel with very clean structure & cleaner room and bathroom. Some rooms have their own private little balcony and an attached Its a heritage kind of hotel so it can give you the feel of being in a king's palace. Unforgettable view from the roof and from it's own restaurant which is situated in front of the hotel. They have good greenery and good setup for family dinner/lunches as well. There are some vintage collection as well which is an addition to your unforgettable experience. Ideal for any honeymooner and for foreigners who wish to experience heritage with Fateh sagar lake view. It is situated very near to the city and having good access to all nearby places. Fatehsagar lake is just in front of it which is the main attraction of Udaipur city. I can never ever forget the hotel and it's amazing view.

Rajdhani Thali, Bhopal: Unique Thali experience

This is the best thali I have ever had till now. It is in Mall so better to enjoy in the evening after shopping because after shopping, you just want to sleep. Very heavy & rich thali which gives the worth to your every single penny spent. Excellent presentation and new dishes with authentic taste and very good serving method makes this restaurant a place to enjoy with all. There is very different tradition that if you like the food then you can hammer a steel bell yourself. I heard many sounds which tells you that how many people liked that food, very unique thing to offer. Food quality is very good. One must visit this restaurant to experience new taste, new atmosphere and The Sound.

Rajhans regent, Bhopal: Best restaurant

There are two type of, one is thali system & one is al-a-carte. Go for Al-a-carte onyly, thali is ok. If you are looking for a very good food then Rajhans is the best choice. You can have many more restaurants nearby but believe me, the presentation and the taste this restaurant provides, no other can do that. I tried approx 5-6 with good brand name but found this one as the best. Not a good view though but when your tongue is happy then your mood is happy too. I had my life's best masala papad over there covered in the cabbage leaf. Absolutely a treat to go there and enjoy the great food.

Bhojpur Temple, Bhopal: A picnic Spot for all

Unbelievably a grand Shivling with amazing surrounding & beauty. Its little far from Bhopal city but its really a worth place to visit every now & then. It is a place which has great views of a little river, great architectures, great value for family picnic too. The main attraction of this place is approx. 20 feet huge Shivling having perimeter of around 50feet. What is more amazing about this is it's construction, it is made of huge stones keeping one another over another without any boding. These stones are kept so perfectly that not even air can pass through between any two. There are some ancient scripts & symbols on the rocks as well, for that you'll have to watch them very closely then you can surely find some unbelievable scripts. Nearby river is another attraction of the place. You can surely choose this place for a family gathering too as well as for weekend trip too. There are many small shops for your apatite but beware of the quality.

Upper Lake/Bada Talaab, Bhopal: Main attraction in Bhopal

Its amazing and believe me, your journey is incomplete without going thru this place. Bhopal will be remembered because of this lake. Its so huge that I can merely see an opposite side land. There are plenty of families in the late evening time to enjoy the blowing cool air. If you wish to have a boat ride then go in the evening time before sunset, you'll have great enjoyable rides. Overall a good time pass in the morning & in the evening with your family, friends, spouse & all.

Van Vihar National Park, Bhopal: Another lovely attraction

This is one of a good place to visit in Bhopal.I visited with my wife. There is very less entry fee. Very calm place & surrounded by trees & greenery. There is a restaurant inside as well which has very different experience with your loved ones, the owner is very helpful and cooperative. We saw only deers as we dint go there to see those. Overall a good visiting place for family as well as with your loved ones.

ICA Indian coffee house, Bhopal: Bad experience

Very bad quality of food. If you are a Rajasthani or North Indian food lover then avoid this. This is mainly concentrate towards south indian cuisine and that also not up to a mark. We ordered very simple items but that were presented in a manner like not even a dhaba wala does. I'm not going to recommend this at all in future.

Hotel Amar Vilas, Bhopal: very average hotel

I stayed with my wife for 2-3 hours only as we were in hurry for a function and could not find low budget hotel in that short period so one auto rickshaw wala brought us there. Not a good stay at all. I can recommend this place for low budget corporate employees who visit Bhopal for day work or so. It has good brand image in nearby places so it may be a safe place for a new couple too. Avoid if you are a couple or looking for a clean hotel.

Kurfi, Shimla: Amazing attraction

Its worth to go there. Shimla visit is incomplete without visiting this place. Its little higher than Fagu & other places so beware of cold. Hire horses but again make yourself assure that you can ride the horses on such roads. Roads are very muddy, may be because of rainy season at that time so there were lot of big stones on the way but horses are used to it but not we so we had to hold our heart to reach there. Overall it was amazing and unforgettable journey.

jakkhu Temple, Shimla: Hanuman Temple

It is a good place to experience the Lord Hanuman's one of the longest statue. There are lot of monkeys which can make your way difficult so there is management who gives you a stick at the time of you enter the temple. Beware of those. Nearby view is not so great but good to see the statue.

Kapil Hotel, Shimla: Unforgettable experience

It was our honeymoon trip to Shimla and we really enjoyed the beauty of Shimla & it's nearby areas a lot. It was unforgettable memories and the Hotel Kapil played a big role in making such memories without any doubt. Lovely big room with amazing view of the valley. Room was very clean & nicely decorated. Bathroom was very clean too and had all the necessary toiletries. Owner Mr. Kunal & his staff were really very helpful and always ready to help. He helped in making early check in possible which gave us approximately whole day at no extra cost. They fulfilled my request to have a cake & bouquet at the time of arrival with ease. We were given his personal car when our hired car was unable to come at the time. It was rainy day so they gave us an umbrella too. Overall it was a lovely lovely place to stay in Shimla and I can recommend this hotel to anyone, specially for a honeymooner- Clean, Beautiful, Safe & easy to access.

Hotel Planet Plaza, Mumbai" Good budget hotel

Its a lovely hotel for short stays up to 2-3 days. Very clean and very supporting staff. Breakfast is having very less items. If you are vegetarian then you'll to adjust with bread-butter only, coffee/milk/tea is of course there. Food is available on demand from nearby restaurants. They do not charge for the take away if you order to Hotel. I stayed there for 6times till now and did not have any complain. Overall a good hotel.

Pakwan Dining Hall, Ahmedabad: Thali Restaurant in the city

Pakwan offers you a big thali with lots of varieties similar to other restaurants with same Thali concept. There is nothing exceptional about this restaurant when it comes to Thali offerings. Taste is not so much extra ordinary. I has tried better thalis at cheaper rates so I can say this is only another place to eat more. Sweet is very tasty there and the arrangement is also little better than other thali offering restaurants (if we compare the rate part too). Overall a very big name in the area but no big taste. Service is quick but there is no good gesture from the staff. Even a Dhaba wala sometimes treat you better. Overall a wastage of money on that much items but taste is good so good for someone who looks for something bigger & tasty too with little higher price.

Always Hotel Riverview, Ahmedabad: Very good stay in Ahmedabad

It was my third stay in Always hotel and believe me I always prefer this hotel over other hotels in that category. It should be a 5star category hotel because of the amenities, cleanliness, staff behavior & food quality altogether. Location of the hotel is what makes it best in Ahmedabad for everyone specially for any corporate person/group. All the modern room amenities are there. Food quality is really awesome with some nice sweet. Gulab jamun was one of the best gulab jamun I ever had. F&B service & Front office behavior give you feel of being the most important guest for them everytime you come across them. Staff is very much caring & concern about your needs & good stay and they are always eager to help you on the go. They do not have any recreational activity but this should does not give you bad feeling as there are lot of other areas nearby the hotel where you can spend you leisure time. Overall a wonderful hotel with wonderful services. I can recommend this hotel to anyone without a second thought. Room Tip: Choose rooms with city/river view. They don't have any recreational activity.

Balaram Palace Resort, Palanpur: Good visiting place

I visited this place in January. First strange thing about the hotel is they charge you for even a site visit, its very nominal though around Rs.100/- per person and they give you one coupon of the same amount which can be utilized in their restaurant. Food menu is very very high priced so we thought it would have a greatest taste as well but we were wrong as the food was good but not as per the charges they take. Service time is very poor as we and some other guests had to wait for atleast half an hour for very small order. Hotel is big & having very specious rooms and having great views of own gardens as well as of serene nature. Hotel is near to the highway and there is no hoarding as well. Night journey can be little dangerous for small groups or individuals. Views from the roof are amazing and give you feeling being in a great place undoubtedly. This is good for those who wants to stay in hotel only and do not want to explore the destination. Their rooms & food is over priced.

Mayur Hotel, Indore: Decent Budget family hotel

Just 5min drive or walk from Railway station or from bus stand. Its a very good and very well known hotel in nearby areas. It is one of the oldest hotel in Indore and having good brand name too. Hotel is safe in all regards. Rooms are big enough but not clean. Its a very low budget hotel with safe & comfortable stay. I chose this hotel 3 times till now and had good experience. Rooms having different wall paintings to give the good feel, bathrooms are very small and not having proper toiletries. Staff is not well educated but owner helps a lot and guide if needed. They do provide hotel for 1hour as well with very nominal charges. Its a family hotel but very suitable for company persons as well. I can recommend this hotel to those who are looking for their pockets for stays.

Hotel Kozar, Ahmedabad: Decent Budget Hotel

Hotel is situated in the most crowded area of Ahmedabad but near to bus stand. Its a good hotel for corporates as well as for individuals or couples. They provide free pick up to the guest who visit more than once and they never got failed in providing this service anytime. I used to go there every month and at early morning around 4am but the person is there in 5min to pick me up. This hotel is very safe as there are close circuit cameras as well. Staff is not well trained but good enough to make sure you do not have any problem there. Restaurant is good, surely not high class but ok, and serves good food in time. Rooms are big but need to work on cleaning as well. I use to stay in this hotel very often because of ease of transport and nearby oldest market where you can levitate in the evening time and to shop as well.

Hotel City Palace, Rajkot: Average Budget Hotel

The hotel is very near to the railway station as well as to bus stand. Nearby surroundings are little clumsy but not city crowded areas. There are many small average restaurants around there but food quality is not at all good. The room which I chose was their most premier room with separate sitting area and a bathroom with bath tub. The decoration was really amazing and I was shocked to see that room at that much lower price. It was very big for even 2 persons. The overall stay was amazing. Any couple can choose this hotel for their longer stays as well, it is safe hotel as well as very good room if chosen wisely but do not expect very good cleanliness and not even great view as well.

Hotel Balwas, Surat: Nice hotel

I went there last year for the business trip and chose this hotel. The hotel was very clean and with all the necessary amenities. Staff was interactive enough but not known to nearby places. Hotel is very near to the bus stand and near to good known restaurants as well and situated near all city areas as well. But beware, they are not flexible in check in & check out timings as I did check out only after 1hr and they charged me for 2 days without informing me. But hotel is good and clean so I can recommend to any corporate person. Room Tip: Choose rooms with roadside views. Do not choose this hotel if your check out timings are not fixed.

Jehan Numa Palace Hotel, Bhopal: Amazing experience

I chose this hotel after reading reviews about this and planned my wife's first birthday celebration there. What can I say about this hotel & its restaurant, AWESOME is the word for everything. Awesome arrangements, Awesome food & taste, Awesome staff behavior & Awesome ambiance. I had request Mr. Thomas, F&B manager, for candle light dinner, cake & bouquet and he fulfilled every request on upfront and better than my expectation. They say its a complete heritage hotel but I think there are little less heritage effects in the hotel but overall a lovely architecture. They have a huge mango tree there where they established a restaurant under the same tree, its a beautiful view while eating at nights. They have specialty & multi-cuisine restaurants in the hotel for dinners or lunches so if you staying there for longer period, you'll not feel eating in the same area every time. There is no Bada Talab view from the hotel but still its a lovely experience.

Hotel Shree Vatika, Bhopal: Excellent Food & Service

Recently we planned a birthday party there in Shree Vatika after checking some nearby options as well. Finding a good looking & clean place and courteous staff we chose this hotel for the party. In very short time, they managed everything on the go without any hesitation. All staff cooperated with us in our manner. They arranged our party in the basement hall called "Orchid" at no extra cost as we were in larger number than committed but all went well. The food is really amazing and I think this is the asset of the hotel. Arrangements were top class and the staff made everything very convenient for a great party for all of us. Mr. Shukla & staff were very supportive and eager to assist in everything. This is the best hotel as compared to all other restaurants with great value of your money, it is approx same value with respect to other hotels. Anyone can choose this hotel for their corporate parties, personal gatherings and get together as well.

Kumbhalgarh Fort: Amazing fort of the world

Kumbhalgarh is a very big fort with 2nd longest man-made wall. It has a very huge shivling in it. This is in the name of Maharana Kumbha. The whole fort is a real beauty. The light & sound show is the treat to watch for any kind of traveler. The fort gives you a feel where everything seems huge. Huge shivling, huge architecture, huge rooms, huge wall and more. Its always very cool atmosphere at the top. The fort separates Mewar & Marwad region. There is a season fall as well which adds the beauty of the fort in the season periods. Must to watch if you are in Rajasthan.

Jaisamand Lake, Rajasthan: Just Awesome

Jaisamand Lake is most beautiful lake in India and it is the largest man made lake as well. It does not seem wrong at all when you are there. Fort kind of pathways and nearby small hilltop place tells you about the taste of King Jai Singh who made this. This is really an architectural beauty of a kind. Little away from Udaipur near 50 plus km. The way towards the lake from Udaipur is little risky as there are some tribal places who can trouble you while driving in late hours. The overall experience is awesome. Best place for picnics and day visit. Have a boat ride. Very different experience.

Akshardham, Gandhinagar: Average

Heard a lot about this temple and was very much excited about the experience. But it was not as per the expectation. Ranakpur Jain temple, Delwara Jain temple etc. are far better temples if we compare with architecture. Its better in terms of kid's activities & water show which is world's biggest world show as they commit. You can not take any eatable, camera, phones inside this temple. Hence we forced to buy eatables from inside restaurants which are higher in price & with average taste too. Temple is good but not great. Best time to visit the place is Evening only. Daytime is not suggested at all. Overall a good time pass upto 3 hours for a family.

Brahma Kumari World Spiritual University: Mount abu attractions

Another place in Mount abu which is beautiful & worth time spending. While returning from Guru-Shikhar point, here comes one park which is Peace Park. As soon as you enter in it, there is a message going on spiritual things, run by Brahma kumari society which tells you about the births we take & we'll take and how to become nearer to God. Then we are released to experience the beauty of the amazing park with lots of roses & other kind of flowers. You can not stay there as there is no sitting arrangements like other parks. Here you are allowed to move ahead always and then finish it soon. Overall a good experience if you are a nature lover & believe in God too.

Nakki Jheel or Nakki Lake: Abu visit is incomplete without Nakki Lake

Nakki lake is one of the main attraction in Mount abu and when you go there, you feel that this fact is right or not. Boating is really why people choose this place for, the boating experience is really great here. They have different types of boats as per your interest, they have Shikara, pedal boat twin/family etc. There is one more different kind of activity which is very famous and enjoyable for all, that is Balloon ride in Nakki. This is available for the people below 55kg weight only because of security reasons. They put you in a big balloon and pack it and through you in the lake. Do not need to worry at all because this is very safe but very very much enjoying activity.Rainy season is the best time to visit there in Mount abu but not good for those who wish to go into balloon as they do not allow ballooning in rain. Overall, a great time spending place in mount abu where you can go anytime & more than one time as well.

Dilwara Jain Temples: Won feeling everytime

Probably the best Jain temple in the world as far as architecture is concern. 15 yrs of making, more than Rs. 18 crores expenditure in near 11th AD, uniqueness, fine work, breathtaking architecture. All words for one thing and that is Dilwara Jain temple. If someone asks me which is the best place I visited ever, I'll proudly say it is Dilwara Jain temple. There is no word which can describe it's real beauty or structure or mechanism or story or architecture or labla labla. Every single design is different from each other & with same wow feeling. Only one word comes out at your every single step, that is "Wowwww" only. As soon as you enter this normal looking temple from outside, you start feeling the magic of architecture beauty. Every Gumbad, a ceiling, you step forward, is carved amazingly. Every design is a marvelous beauty. The designs of stone carving is out of the world. You need atleast 10-20 minute to see every single design. The main dom, at the front of the lord statue, is very big and with greater carving & design with very fine work. A person who loves architecture beauty, must see this. This will be life long experience for him, I guarantee. You can not complete this temple visit in 2-3 hours if you start seeing the ceiling designs. Overall, a greatest place I have ever visited and wish to visit again n again.

NAVIDYA RESTAURANT (Amantra Hotel): Best presented Thali ever

This is the best thali I ever saw till now in a Thali offering restaurant. Presentation is really good and taste is good too if not great. 1 Thali is not for 1 person for sure, its for more people. Its huge, lavish, rich & worth. You can share one thali if you wish too. Service is excellent, food taste is good but there is lack of authentic taste of some dishes but you can not avoid this Thali for that reason. People are very nice to you and always looks forward to get your feedback which is a good thing to give you the feel of important guest. They describe you about every dish of the Thali in person & then you can start your feast. This thali is different from other thalis in terms of dishes & taste. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is food lover and specially a good eater. Nice restaurant with Nice thali & great services.
